HOW TO EARN CREDIT
During the period September 20, 2014 through September 30, 2016, participants must 1) read the learning objectives and facul-ty disclosures; 2) study the educational activity; and 3) complete the posttest and the evaluation form. To answer the questions, click on your selected choice for each answer then proceed to the next question. Once completed, click on Submit Posttest at the bottom of the page. Your posttest will automatically be graded. If you successfully complete the posttest (score of 70% or higher), your Statement of Credit will be made available immediately. Click on View Certificate and print the Statement of Credit for your records. If you receive a score lower than 70%, you will receive a message notifying you that you did not pass the posttest. GOAL
This activity is designed to educate pharmacists about the current treatment options available for those with insomnia and how to individualize treatment decisions. New mechanisms to treat insom-nia and advice about counseling patients will also be discussed.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
1.     Identify key patient challenges and barriers to the effective management of insomnia;
2. Review mechanisms, efficacy, and safety data on available pharmacologic therapies for insomnia;
3. Assess patient characteristics to help guide pharmacotherapeutic selection in insomnia; and
4. Develop strategies for patient counseling in insomnia management.
