Participants must 1) read the learning objectives and faculty disclosures; 2) view the educational activity; and 3) complete the posttest and evaluation form directly after the activity within a maximum of 60 days of participating in the activity. To answer the questions, click on your selected choice for each answer then proceed to the next question. Once completed, click on the Grade Exam button at the bottom of the page. GOAL

The goal of this educational activity is to equip non-oncology nurses and pharmacists with the skills needed to identify immune-related adverse events in patients treated immune checkpoint inhibitors, apply guideline-recommended practices for the management of immune-related adverse events, counsel patients effectively, and refer patients back to their oncology providers when needed to improve patient quality of life and treatment outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:

• Identify symptoms associated with the development of immune-related adverse events (irAEs) due to immune checkpoint inhibitors
• Describe guideline-recommended strategies to manage irAEs among patients who have received immunotherapy
• Formulate individualized irAE management strategies that involve care coordination with the oncology team and subspecialists
