Privacy Policy

Welcome to www.powerpak.com.  This site is owned by Postgraduate Healthcare Education, LLC (“PHE”), a subsidiary of Jobson Medical Information LLC (“JMI”). This privacy policy explains PHE’s and JMI’s (“our”) practices regarding collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that you may provide to us through this Web site.

What personal information do we collect on this site, and how do we collect it?

  • When you sign up to take CE activities on this site, you create a “CE student profile,” which includes your name (first, middle, last), address, phone, e-mail, and fax number, as well as the numbers, states and expiration dates of your licenses.
  • If you sign up for our Continuing Education E-Mail Newsletter, we ask you for your first and last names, address, e-mail address, cell phone number, and home fax number.

How do we use the personal information that we collect?

  • PHE uses your name and address to grade your post-activity test and to send you a statement of credit for the CE activity. If PHE uses a third-party company to grade your post-activity test and issue a statement of credit, PHE will give your name and address to that company for that purpose only.
  • If you sign up for our Continuing Education E-Mail Newsletter, JMI will use your e-mail address to send you the newsletter as well as JMI’s U.S. Pharmacist® eConnect® newsletter and e-pharm/alert®, a promotional service of JMI’s subsidiary /alert Marketing, Inc.
  • On occasion, the commercial supporter of a CE activity will ask us for a list of the people who participated in that activity, so that it may document the first level of outcomes-based evaluation in CE (i.e., who attended, which medical specialties/practices were represented, how this compares to the target audience, and whether the activity needs to be repeated because significant numbers of the target audience did not attend).  In that event, we will provide the supporter with your name, title and affiliation, but we will request in writing that the supporter not contact you directly for any purpose.
  • If you provide your fax number, you give consent for JMI to send you fax advertisements for JMI information products and services, such as JMI’s publication U.S. Pharmacist®, at the fax number you have provided. You do not have to provide your fax number to take a CE activity.
  • If we sell, assign, or otherwise transfer the business of this Web site to which your personal information relates, we will transfer your personal information to the buyer and require the buyer to agree to treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • If we are required to disclose your personal information by any applicable law, court order, or government regulation, we will comply with such laws, orders or regulations.
