To provide pharmacists with an enhanced understanding of head lice infestation and current treatment modalities and strategies to educate, counsel, and monitor patients with head lice infestation.

  2. Evaluate the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic profiles of over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription treatments for head lice infestation;*

  4. Describe preventitive measures for head lice infestation;* and
  5. Discuss strategies that pharmacists can employ to educate, counsel, and monitor patients who have head lice infestation.
